Fantastic news coming out of China……
Photographs obtained this week reveal where Mrs Yang has been spending the funds she has received to date: on a new shelter in Tianjin, China, and it’s looking good!!
In a major development, photographs have now been released showing the new shelter Mrs Yang has managed to secure for her dogs. Spacious, clean and tidy, the photographs reveal Mrs Yang’s intention to continue to care for the dogs to the best of her ability. Improvements to the shelter are ongoing and should be completed in the next few weeks.
Over the last few months there have been defamatory reports coming from both China and the West of the poor condition of Mrs Yang’s shelters, although it was well known before the fundraiser that Mrs Yang and some of her rescues were living in a dilapidated tenement complex in Tianjin. Her explanation was that because of her limited resources she put food for her animals before rent. Statements reporting that Mrs Yang is an animal abuser because of the appalling conditions of that accommodation, from which she was previously unable to move, have been extremely damaging to Mrs Yang’s reputation and to her health.
Mrs Yang is being subjected to the most hateful of smear campaigns, she is being called a hoarder, a trader in dogs for meat, an employer of mafia type thugs, a greedy profiteer, and an animal abuser. Little doubt remains that the smear campaign was initiated by the UK registered charity ‘World Protection for Dogs and Cats in the Meat Trade’ AKA ‘No To Dog Meat (NTDM)’ in an attempt to avoid sending Mrs Yang the majority of the £80k+ that was raised for her through an online fundraising platform.
Due to the expense of securing the new shelter, Mrs Yang is now in urgent need of food for her dogs. Winter is on the way and supplies are running out fast. Can you help? Please give a donation directly to Mrs Yang’s account to help her and the dogs get through the next few months.

Thank you, Mrs Yang!. As many were deceived by fraudulent fund-raisers in Mrs Yang’s name, it would be good if she could do a video to read out her bank account details to reassure donors that they will be donatng to her directly…Or even better if she can set up a paypal to facilitate donors payment.

Thx for the explanations!!! But I have a friend who told me that Ms. Yang was a worker and pretend to be a retired teacher in public. Why did she do that? It is hard to believe someone who uses a false identity to raise money.

Well John it would help if you told us your friends source of that information, there are so many manufactured rumours surrounding Mrs Yang. Mrs Yang’s critics should have stuck with the original accusation that she is a hoarder, but as always happens in these cases the accusations have become so wildly ridiculous nobody is listening anymore to them.

While being deeply saddened to learn of Mrs Yang’s plight we are not surprised to read the series of blogs from https://charityobserver.wordpress.com about the truly evil smear campaign of Mrs Yang, launched by the management team of UK charity ‘World Protection for Dogs and Cats in the Meat Trade’ AKA ‘No To Dog Meat.
When a Ms Sophie Ling joined the charity’s admin team we hoped that she would have a positive influence on the CEO. Unfortunately Sophie discovered, too late, that the CEO was ‘not for turning’ from her highly questionable behaviour as a charity head. Sophie was forced to resign her volunteer post in protest at the charity CEO tinkering with a restricted fund on Total Giving for Mrs Yang, a rescuer of cats and dogs in China.
Past readers of our blogs will know the unsavoury history of the charity; they will have listened to the two recordings of the conversation, between Ms Julia de Cadenet and an ex NTDM team member, where she is heard ‘promising to destroy’ Peter Egan and Jill Robinson of Animals Asia and threatening to pay to have her ex trustee killed.
While the good news is that Mrs Yang has found new premises to rehome her animals, from the most derelict of her shelters, the evil smear campaign is escalating daily, today we read on twitter a new accusation from a member of the NTDM team that she is a ‘puppy farmer’
As this blog states, “Mrs Yang is being subjected to the most hateful of smear campaigns, she is being called a hoarder, a trader in dogs for meat, an employer of mafia type thugs, a greedy profiteer, and an animal abuser. Little doubt remains that the smear campaign was initiated by the UK registered charity ‘World Protection for Dogs and Cats in the Meat Trade’ AKA ‘No To Dog Meat (NTDM)’ in an attempt to avoid sending Mrs Yang the majority of the £80k+ that was raised for her through an online fundraising platform.”
If you haven’t heard the recordings they can be found on this link: http://whoisnotodogmeat.com/2015/03/31/rebuttal-of-lies-posted-on-a-ripoff-report/ where you will see that Mrs Yang is not the first person to be subjected to a smear campaign by members of the NTDM team and she will not be the last if the charity gets away with these obnoxious tactics to defame Mrs Yang.

I have been writing my own short posts about Mrs Yang for a little while, and have linked back to this blog and suggested others check it out also. Lots of innuendo posted by the long term supporters of this charity, and now 4 months later, people are still none the wiser!

Hello Sally Rowland we have just read your fascinating blog. The map you supply with the locations of many of the listed ‘signatories’ on ‘A Joint Statement from Chinese Animal Protection Groups‘ is jaw dropping. We highly recommend reading: http://whodrankmywine.blogspot.ca/2015/10/where-are-mrs-yangs-detractors-from.html

NTDM used the name of Mrs Yang for donation. But NTDM didn’t give funds to her. More than £ 70 000 had been collected for this amazing woman. NTDM must prove and brings information. Not To Dog Meat you must give funds you collected with our money. The law must be apply.

I have only just seen this page. All I have been able to find up until a few minutes ago about Mrs Yang are derogatory accounts. I want to believe in her. Yet awful reports all over the place about her, her shelters, her ‘abuse’ of dogs! Fraud? Such a deep dark picture painted of her, her family, what is going on.
So to find this page tonight is good news.
How did this come about? Where did the money come from for the renovated shelter? Is it anything to do with the £80,000 raised by NTDM, or from another source? I thought NTDM had frozen all the donations we gave to help Mrs Yang.
We have been so bombarded by negativity about Mrs Yang, -so may twists in this campaign against her….that I am overjoyed to see this page….yet at the same time can hardly believe it!
Can someone direct me to further information/’news’ about these new developments? (Well actually this is dated Oct 2015. And I hadn’t seen it before today -June 2016.)
Please anyone let me know -links, pics, anything. I feel passionately about these dogs -and all the poor Souls at YuLin. Also I feel for Mrs Yang and want to believe in her.

Thanks Observer. Yes I did read Victoria’s pages (yangchinablog)…and was very relieved to read it. Mrs Yang still needs so much help. But at least Victoria’s visit, and the news of some improvements now taking place at Mrs Yang’s shelter made such a difference.
My opinion is that NTDM are responsible for mis-representing Mrs Yang in a horrible and defamatory way. No doubt so they don’t have to release any more money to her!
Shame on them!!
